"We have one word for you ... SPECTACULAR! Thank you for making our daughter, Anne's wedding so wonderful. Everything was perfect. The band was exactly what Anne had hoped for, only more so."

Pleasure Groove doesn't just play great music. Pleasure Groove plays with an energy and soul that can't be found elsewhere in St. Louis. They add their own special style and flair to every song they play, and you'll never hear a lifeless rendition of the standards other bands have worn out.
Their lead singers are known not only for their phenomenal voices, but also for engaging the audience and being so much fun to watch. They dance all night long, either on stage or interacting with the audience on the dance floor, and their energy is contagious.

"What can I say except 'WOW'! Pleasure Groove’s amazing musicianship from each of the vocalists and instrumentalists was outstanding and matched by their incredible energy and professionalism. I can’t say enough great things about this band."
-- Robert Bertman, groom
“I can't recommend Pleasure Groove enough! All of my guests were completely blown away by their energy and how terrific they sounded. They made our wedding reception so much fun. Even the guests that don't enjoy dancing told me how much fun it was just to hear and watch the band."

Pleasure Groove realizes that the job of a top special event band is more than just playing great music. The premier event planners in town love working with Pleasure Groove because they understand that their clients deserve an excellent experience from start to finish, and in every detail.
Months in advance of each performance, Pleasure Groove's manager begins working closely with each client and/or event coordinator to plan the entertainment portion of the evening, to ensure that it flows as flawlessly as possible. A lot of thought goes into every event, and no two performances are ever the same. The band arrives early and starts on time, and they take minimal breaks of a reasonable length. In addition, they offer a variety of attire options, from formal to semi-formal to casual.
"Pleasure Groove really spent the time soliciting our feedback about the kind of event we wanted – the type of music, the different elements of the reception, timing, etc. AND THEY LISTENED! They took our comments about the type of reception we wanted and made it happen. Our event was truly the upscale, urban, festive party that we wanted due in large part to Pleasure Groove’s talents. We’d hire them again in a heartbeat!”
-- Liz Ferrigno and John Bahr, bride and groom

Pleasure Groove also goes to great effort to make sure their stage area complements the elegance of the venue you choose for your special event. Their wireless microphones and customized in-ear monitor system allow them to eliminate unsightly monitors and amps from the stage, and they take extra time to minimize the cables that are visible to the audience. This allows them to provide the cleanest stage of any band in town.

Pleasure Groove has made a substantial investment in technology to ensure that the overall quality of their sound is unparalleled. Their clients often comment that the band sounds like listening to a CD.
The number one complaint of most bands is that they're too loud. Not so with Pleasure Groove. Their customized technology gives their dedicated sound technicians maximum control over their volume and allows them to play amazingly softly. This is especially important during dinner. Very few bands their size are able to offer this important benefit to their clients.
They also have multiple versions of their sound system, which allows them to use the most appropriate configuration for each event. They won't bring stadium speakers to a small wedding, and they won't be underpowered at a large outdoor concert.

"The dinner music was fabulous, perfect volume, and anyone that knew what to listen for could tell we were in for an exciting night with the band. Once the party started, people danced all night, feeding off the band's energy and vice versa."
--Cameron Mizell, groom
"My wedding reception was in Grand Hall in Union Station where the acoustics are admittedly quite tricky. I was blown away by how well they handled it. The sound couldn’t have been any better!! I’d hire them again in a second without even thinking twice."

Pleasure Groove wants your special event to be the way you want it to be. That's why they work closely with their clients to prepare for each event, and they always have a game plan before the start of each performance. This allows them to minimize unnecessary space between songs and keep the dance floor packed all night long.
However, even the best planned events sometimes get off schedule, and sometimes plans need to change. Pleasure Groove's customized technology allows them to communicate discretely on stage without the audience knowing it, which allows them to flawlessly transition from one song to the next, even when they have to depart from the original game plan. This is a major client benefit that most bands are unable to offer.
Their experience also allows them to offer a variety of useful advice as you plan your event to help ensure that it flows as smoothly as possible.
"As I am sure happens often with the best made plans - we were behind schedule. Mark did all and more to give us our money's worth (even though this was our scheduling issue, not Pleasure Groove's). How often does a band do that?!"
-- Dr. and Mrs. Richard Schwartz, parents of the bride
